8 healthy ways to cope with stress

Ah, STRESS.


We all hate it, but it definitely makes its way into our lives all the time.


With the full and busy lives that we live, we can't always be stress free.


When It comes to stress, the most important thing is to pinpoint exactly what the main cause is.


Work?

Sleep?

Relationships? (Who needs a valentine, anyway?)

Where is the MAIN source of stress?


From here, ask yourself if it is something that is truly in your control.


And let’s be honest here: either it is or it isn’t.


If you need help with this part, try journaling (one of our favorite ways to destress!) Write out all of the things that could be a potential point of stress, and then decipher if it is or isn’t in your control.


If it isn’t: CROSS IT OUT. There is NOTHING you can do about it! Trust that it will work itself out.


If it IS: dive into it a little bit and write the best possible reaction for the situation next to it.

🧘 Read a book

🧘 Listen to your favorite music

🧘 Draw

🧘 Watch your favorite Netflix show

🧘 Take a hot bath
